Church of St Maria Maggiore
Santa Maria Maggiore Church was constructed between the end of the 1400 and the beginning of the 1500 on the site where, around 1200, there was a small church.
With its elegant late gothic structure and renaissance patterns, the church is testimony to the Vitelli architectural era. It was built at the request of Niccolò Vitelli to celebrate the victory over the Giustini papist army. The interior has three naves shored by large pointed ribs. On the left of the chapel there is a Perugian style nave.
