The prismatic Civic Tower (13th century) holds the remains of some stone coats of arms, and also traces of the fresco commissioned to Luca Signorelli by the Priors in 1474. It is a symbol of Communal Power - used also as a jail - and the tower is known as "Torre del Vescovo" (Bishop's tower), because is leaning on the Bishop's Palace - rebuilt many times until its actual seventeenth century shape.
