Cloisters of St Domenico

p16qlatc3s7j81otpot9r00e893p16qlatc3t1f4r9qi1d7q1p7ecl34

The cloisters are characterised by the double order of overlapping arches. On the east side of the building, over the seventeenth century loggia roof, is part of the original cloister crowning, still well conserved. Two big windows with three lights are below the inferior arcades that, together with the trilobite door give light to the thirteenth century Sala Capitolare.
Five of the 42 lunettes are attributed to Sguazzino, born in Città di Castello in 1593.
