Città di Castello

From Umbertideafter having visited the castle of Civitella Ranieri, go up the river Tiber along the highway. After the castle of Montalto go along the highway until 416 Lisciano Niccone and if you want you can cross the border of the region to Cortona. Back in the Tiber valley continue northwards, only a few kilometers, and go up to Montone and from there to Pietralunga. After the pass of Monte Frantano it comes down finally to Città di Castello also passing nearby the Montemaggiore.
